Raja Waqar Ahmed Khan joined the Department of Botany in August 2019. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor. He received his PhD in Botany from the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, in 2021. He is a passionate and results-driven Plant Ecologist with extensive experience in research, teaching, and environmental sustainability. His expertise encompasses studies of forest and grassland ecosystems with a focus on biomass and soil carbon stocks. He is skilled in Ecological Modelling and statistical analysis, utilizing R and other tools. With a strong academic background and a proven track record in supervising graduate research, he is committed to advancing knowledge in ecological and climate change science. His career is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship through research, teaching, and active participation in climate change and conservation initiatives.
