The King Abdullah Campus at Chattar Klass
King Abdullah Campus of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was constructed with the financial sport of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and stands as a symbol of friendship between the people of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The State of the Art campus is situated at distance of 21 km from Muzaffabad city on Muzaffarabad Islamabad main highway. The campus has academic blocks administration block, library, mosque, State of the Art auditorium, separate hostels for male and female students and for the faculty members, and other necessary amenities.
The campus was constructed after the devastating earthquake of 2005 and it started functioning in 2020. Besides the hostel facility, the university transport commutes the students between Muzaffarabad city and campus on daily basis. The futuristic campus is constructed keeping in view the future needs of the students. The King Abdullah Campus at present houses about 13 academic departments of the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
