To cater the growing demands of the market, on the directive of the Vice Chancellor, Business Administration Department was established in November 2010 in the University of AJ&K at Muzaffarabad with the objective to provide an opportunity to local/surrounding community to get managerial education at their door step. Initially it was decided that the department offers BBA (Honour 4 year) & MBA (3.5 year) on the self finance basis in the evening hours to serve a diverse population in a competitive, dynamic and global environment. This experiment met a great success that there was very encouraging response from the students, A large no of applicant applied for admission but only limited no were admitted because of scarcity of resources.
There are now plans to expand the scope of the department. Faculty and staff are committed to continuous improvement of our academic Programmes to better serve our community. The Department is committed to an overall balance among teaching, scholarly activities, and liaison with the business industry.
