The five-day National Youth Summit 2025, jointly organized by the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) and the Islamic Research Institute, International Islamic University Islamabad, concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony at the Education Hall, Chella Campus, Muzaffarabad.
The ceremony was graced by Federal Minister of State for Education and Professional Training Mrs. Wajiha Qammar as the Chief Guest. Distinguished speakers included Vice-Chancellor Nasir Jamal Khattak, Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, Director General Islamic Research Institute, Dr. Muhammad Rustam, Deputy Director, and Dr. Imtiaz Awan, Director Jhelum Valley Campus.
Speakers lauded the active engagement of youth and highlighted the importance of including young voices in policymaking. On the occasion, participants presented a comprehensive set of Youth Policy Recommendations, featuring proposals like Youth Shadow Councils, University Policy Labs, National Freelancing Curriculum, Micro Startup Grants, Climate Innovation Fund, Youth Digital Parliament App, Volunteer Credit Systems, Research-to-Policy Fellowships, and many more innovative ideas for the future.
