The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), in collaboration with the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “From Liberated AJK We Vow: Until Every Inch of IIOJK is Free, Our Struggle Continues” to commemorate the 78th Founding Day of the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir at Chehla Campus, Education Hall.
The seminar was hosted by the Directorate of Students Affairs, and moderated by Mr. Amir Jahangir, Lecturer, Department of Kashmir Studies.
Prominent Hurriyat leader and Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference (J&K), Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Chairman of KIIR, Islamabad, Mr. Altaf Hussain Wani, and Hurriyat leader Mr. Abdul Hameed Lone addressed the audience and highlighted the significance of the day, reaffirming the commitment to continue the struggle for the complete liberation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Representing the host institution, Registrar Prof. Dr. Saadat Hanif Dar emphasized that the establishment of the AJK government symbolized the collective resolve of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for freedom, while Director Institute of Kashmir Studies Dr. Sumaira Shafique underscored the importance of academic and research-based engagement with the Kashmir cause.
At the conclusion of the event, Dean Faculty of Sciences Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rafique, Registrar Prof. Dr. Saadat Hanif Dar, and Director Students Affairs Dr. Rehana Kousar presented souvenirs to the APHC leaders.
