NIM Peshawar Delegation Explores Academic Excellence at UAJK
A Senior Management Course (SMC) delegation at the National Institute of Management Peshawar visited the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) on Friday. The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Saadat Hanif Dar, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Director of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), and Mr. Mubashar Naqvi, Public Relations Officer.
During their visit, the delegates were given a detailed overview of UAJK’s educational contributions to the region. Prof. Dr. Saadat Hanif Dar delivered a comprehensive presentation, highlighting the university’s milestones and initiatives, while Mr. Mubashar Naqvi moderated the interactive session. The participants actively engaged in the discussion, posing pertinent questions and receiving insightful responses.
At the conclusion of the session, both institutions exchanged souvenirs as a gesture of goodwill. The delegation then visited the Monument of the Martyrs to pay their respects to the students, faculty members, and staff who tragically lost their lives in the 2005 earthquake. They offered Fatiha for the departed souls.
The group also toured the Lincoln Corner and various labs in the Health and Allied Sciences Department, where Mr. Junaid Mir, Head of the Department, provided a thorough briefing on the facilities and their impact on academic and research excellence.
This visit not only strengthened ties between UAJK and NIM Peshawar but also showcased the university’s dedication to education, innovation, and community development.
