Welcome to the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), the oldest institution of higher learning in the region! UAJK is committed to providing a learning-friendly environment where we celebrate diversity, encourage critical thinking, foster civic values, and promote responsible citizenship.
We are aware of the challenges our students face, especially the rising cost of living that weighs heavily on families everywhere. Despite serious financial constraints, UAJK continues to work tirelessly to make quality higher education accessible and meaningful for students. We are expanding scholarship opportunities, improving ca
mpus facilities, enhancing student support systems, and strengthening our academic programs to ensure that every student acquires the skills they need to do well in the job market.
We take pride in the dedication of our faculty, the resilience of our students, and the quiet strength of our university community. We work as a team and continue to move forward despite all odds. Together, we can ensure that UAJK emerges as a highly ranked university whose academic programs are market-oriented. We mean to create a forward-looking institution that not only imparts knowledge but also inspires innovation, community service, and leadership. We want to invest in research that addresses problems and issues facing us.
To all potential students seeking admission to a reputable university, I would say, joining UAJK can be the best decision you make. Here, you will find an institution that not only values your aspirations but is ready to support your journey with integrity and purpose. Join a community where your potential will be recognized, your efforts will be guided, and your future will be shaped with care and commitment. We look forward to welcoming you.
We mean to change lives of students and their families through sustained support from our community. While we are a public sector university and get part of funds from the Higher Education Commission, the constant rise in the cost of living and the inflation render those funds inadequate for a respectable operation of the essential university matters. I appeal to all philanthropists, charitable individuals and organizations to support us any which way they can. I also appeal to our alumni to come forward and support their alma mater. We owe it to our university; we owe it to our people! Let us join hands in helping our university, our students, our community! Together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for visiting us.
