To expand UAJK’s outreach and address the educational needs of the people of Jehlum Valley, the Jhelum Valley Campus was established on August 01, 2015, at Hattian Bala. Initially, the campus was housed in the building of Boys Inter College Hattian Bala, situated along the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad Highway. In its first phase, three undergraduate degree programs were launched in the disciplines of English, Education, and Computer Sciences.

Due to regional cultural norms and limited resources, higher education opportunities—especially for female students—are often out of reach in distant cities. The Jhelum Valley Campus brings academic facilities directly to the local youth, empowering them to pursue higher education and actively contribute to national development.

Currently offered undergraduate programs:

• BS English
• BS Education (B.Ed Hons)
• BS Computer Science

Further academic expansion is planned based on future needs and regional demand.
