Four-Day Training on “Biosurveillance Activities” Successfully Concludes at UAJK
The Department of Zoology, University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), in collaboration with ORIC–UAJK and DESTO BRC, successfully organized an intensive four-day training on Biosurveillance Activities.
A distinguished delegation from DESTO BRC, Prof. Dr. Saifullah Khan, Dr. Irfan Ali, and Dr. Ali Hassan, led the sessions. The experts delivered highly insightful lectures and conducted hands-on, practical, and field training, equipping participants with modern biosurveillance techniques, their operational applications, and the latest trends in biological monitoring.
The program was jointly coordinated under the supervision of Director ORIC, Dr. M. Naeem Ahmed; Chairperson of the Department of Zoology, Prof. Dr. Nuzhat Shafi; and Focal Person, Dr. Saiqa Andleeb, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and impactful execution of this important academic initiative.
The training significantly enhanced participants’ knowledge and practical competencies while also strengthening institutional collaboration for future scientific and research ventures in the field of biosurveillance.
