Dr. Zahid Majeed has joined the Department of Biotechnology on March, 2018 as Assistant Professor. He received his PhD in Environmental Biotechnology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia in May 2016.

Achievements: He is HEC approved research supervisor for M.Phil./Ph.D programs in Biotechnology. He has published 28 research articles in SCI refereed Journals published by World’s leading publishers i.e., Elsevier (Netherland), John Wiley & Sons (USA), De-Gruyter (Germany). He has also submitted two national patents as inventor. He is also the Principal Investigator of a National Project funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He has successfully supervised 7 M.Phil. (Biotechnology) students. Two Ph.D. students are currently under co-supervision.
