Ayesha Sohail is a distinguished professor in applied linguistics with CELTA certification and over 28 years in higher education. Holding a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sheffield, specializing in Conversation Analysis, she teaches and researches at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) in TEFL, Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, Conversation Analysis, and more. Her expertise is further enhanced by a prestigious fellowship in 'Women Leadership in Higher Education’ from Michigan State University, USA. Formerly Registrar and Dean at UAJK, she demonstrates exceptional management and leadership skills.
