Dr. Abdul Hameed Khan has joined Department of Biotechnology, University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad in April , 2018. Previously he worked as assistant professor in Lahore Garrison University, Lahore. He completed his PhD in Biotechnology (Cell and Molecular biology) from University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, Austria in June 2015. During his PhD, he investigated the impact of DNA repair factors in Aging and stem cell differentiation.
He has authored/co-authored several research papers in high impact peer reviewed international journals. He presented his work several international research conferences. His current research work focus on elucidation of molecular mechanism of cancer initiation, cell based therapies, Aging.
