The four-year LLB Programme, offered under the semester system at the University
and its affiliated colleges, provides a solid foundation in legal principles,
critical thinking, and practical legal skills. It combines theoretical knowledge
with hands-on exposure in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, Property Law,
and Legal Ethics. Students are trained in advocacy, research, and legal writing to
prepare them for careers as lawyers, judges, academics, policymakers, or further legal studies.
The award shall be titled Bachelor of Laws (LLB), classified at
Level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework (HEC Pakistan).

CLOs specify the minimum standards of knowledge and skills required in each
course to ensure uniform academic quality across all institutions.
Courses are aligned with HEC’s Undergraduate Education Policy (2023)
to broaden students’ knowledge and skills.
A compulsory 6–8 week internship (3 credit hours) assessed jointly
by faculty supervisors and field professionals.
A 3 credit hour capstone project in the final year, supervised by
faculty, serves as the culminating academic experience.
Students must maintain 75% attendance in each semester to be
eligible for final examinations.
- 12 years of education (HSSC/A-Levels) with at least 45% marks.
- Minimum 50% score in HEC Law Admission Test (LAT).
- Other requirements as prescribed by HEC and the University.

Note (i): Internship of three (03) credit hours shall be completed in accordance with HEC Undergraduate Education Policy V 1.1 and it shall commence after the end of the terminal examination of the 8th Semester. This requirement cannot be substituted with additional coursework, capstone, research, or project work.
(ii): Grand Viva (non-credit hour but S/U basis) shall be conducted soon after the terminal examination of the 8th Semester. However, the viva of the internship report and capstone project shall be taken after completing six (06) to eight (08) weeks of internship.
(iii): Non-Muslim students shall opt for a two-credit hour course from interdisciplinary courses as a substitute requirement for Fehm-e-Quran courses, which are compulsory for Muslim students.
