Program Duration
  • As per UAJK
  • Minimum 4 years, Maximum 6 years
  • 8-12 normal semesters
  • Thesis in 7th & 8th
  • Final Year Project proposal will have to be submitted and defended in the 7th

 

Lectures and Lab work

During lockdown situations like the one due to COVID’19, the online/blended educational mode shall be adapted and governed according to rules and regulations laid down by the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Higher Education Commission, Pakistan, and National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). Particularly,

There should be at least two sections of each lecture

  • an online lecture (maybe pre-recorded)
  • a question-answer/discussion section and an optional problem-solving session. A faculty member may use other methods to increase the learning outcome, for example seminars, class projects, simulations etc.

In case a lab work of a subject requires some additional hardware (logic design, electronics, embedded systems, etc.) then concept learning during the execution of a semester with an online/blended educational model may be adopted via

  • E-labs OR
  • Simulated labs can be OR
  • On-Campus Training Workshops may be arranged during the last month of the semester by the concerned faculty member. For this purpose, the students enrolled in a concerned subject must be divided into small groups as per SOPs issued by the government and the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
