Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary Chairs 55th Meeting of the UAJ&K
The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Chancellor of the state-based universities, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary, presided over the 55th meeting of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s (UAJK) Syndicate at Kashmir House, Islamabad, on January 17, 2025.
The meeting was attended by the esteemed members of the Syndicate, where several key agenda items concerning academic, administrative, and developmental matters were presented by Registrar Prof. Dr. Ghulam Murtaza for discussion and approval.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kaleem Abbasi, in his opening remarks, extended a warm welcome to the participants and highlighted the university’s progress, recent achievements, and ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing academic excellence and institutional growth.
The Syndicate, as the university’s highest statutory body, deliberated on various proposals and decisions pivotal to advancing UAJK’s mission of providing quality education and fostering innovation in research. The meeting reflected a collective commitment to addressing challenges, promoting higher education, and contributing to the socioeconomic development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
