UAJK Observes Youm-e-Takbeer With Patriotic Zeal

The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) marked Youm-e-Takbeer on May 28, 2025, with great enthusiasm at the Education Hall, Chella Campus. The day commemorated Pakistan’s successful nuclear tests and symbolized the nation’s strength, unity, and scientific achievement.

Students from UAJK and the University of Kotli, Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), University of Poonch Rawalakot, Women University Bagh, University of Bhimber and others participated in a vibrant array of inter-university competitions, including English and Urdu declamation contests, painting, documentary screenings, essay writing, and multiple sports events. The event also featured stirring patriotic songs presented by the students of the Department of Art and Design, creating an atmosphere full of pride and national spirit.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nadeem Haider Bukhari addressed the gathering and reflected on the historic significance of Youm-e-Takbeer, calling it a reminder of Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to safeguard its sovereignty. He applauded the active involvement of students and commended the organizing team for making the event a memorable success. The event was skillfully moderated by Mr. Mehtab Alam, Lecturer in the Urdu Department.
