It is a matter of great pleasure to welcome you at UAJ&K. The university is slowly but certainly trying to overcome all the barriers in its march towards progress in achieving its set goals. It is continuously raising its ranks and status. The sapling which was planted 27 years back in 1980 is now a flowering tree providing its shed to the knowledge seekers of the region. Here you will find an atmosphere, conducive to learning, well qualified faculty members and dedicated administration, who are abreast with latest techniques and skills.
Our courses and syllabi are in accordance with modern needs of the era. Faculty and students have the ability to combat any challenge. Our response to the 8th October 2005 earthquake has proved that even disasters and calamities can not dent our spirit. After this disaster the university administration and faculty due to their unflinching commitment, patience and perseverance played heroic role, not only saved academic year of the students by the resumption of classes temporarily at Islamabad but also re-established state of art laboratories and well stocked libraries.
We are operating in two campuses to stimulate and inculcate in students scholarly qualities and character. Besides academic pursuits we will provide you ample opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities.
