Directorate of Advanced Studies and Research
The directorate is headed by a Director and is assisted by
three Officers namely Deputy Director and Statistical Officer. The duties and responsibilities assigned by
the syndicate include:
Regulates M. Phil and Ph. D. programmes, facilitates teaching departments
in organizing the co-curricular activities viz., seminars, conferences,
workshops and look after matters related the scholarships, applications
from teachers and students for best teacher of the year and best
student of the year in various disciplines.
Research section looks after matters pertaining to the promotion of research activities. The research proposals and theses submitted by the M. Phil /Ph. D. scholars, faculty research projects, rules and regulations for higher studies, etc. are presented before the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB).
