To cater the growing demands of the market, on the directive of the Vice Chancellor, Department of Business Administration was established in Nov, 2010 in the University of AJK at Muzaffarabad. The primary objective of the formation of this department was to provide an opportunity to surrounding community to get quality managerial education at their door step. This experiment met a great success; we received a very warm response from the market in terms of no. of admissions we got in five years. Currently, the department offers BBA (Honors 4 year) & MBA (3.5 year) in the evening session. The qualified faculty having both research and industry experience is committed to strive for academic excellence. The department is committed to an overall balance among scholarly activities, and liaison with the business industry. The department promotes mutual respect, professional development, ethical conduct, freedom of enquiry and expression, and equal opportunities.

Our primary objective is "to train and educate a class of business leaders who will learn cutting-edge technologies and practical business skills in a broader intellectual and ethical framework to respond to the challenges and opportunities of the ever-changing market place".
